Investment Management Opportunities for CFA Charterholders

"I am grateful to have a career in the investment profession. As a portfolio manager, it’s very satisfying to get to know my clients and understand their goals and dreams. At the same time, I can blend my love of research and analytics and create solutions to meet each client’s specific needs. People entrust me to help secure their futures, and the skill-set acquired preparing for the CFA charter gives me the depth and knowledge to best serve my clients. I may not be able to control the markets, but I can control how I relate to others and the knowledge I apply to make educated and thoughtful decisions that will positively impact people for the rest of their lives. That’s powerful."
Patricia M. Schneider, CFA
Senior Portfolio Manager

"Investment management offers an environment that values independent thinking, problem solving, collaboration and curiosity. I’m fortunate to work in an industry that leverages my core skill-set where I have a trusted voice in the room. Having a seat at the table allows me to directly contribute to the investment process. As a research analyst, I recommend investments for our client portfolios where we invest in companies that contribute to our economic output, innovation and sustainability. It’s rewarding to generate good performance for our clients while also investing in our future. Plus, I work with talented colleagues who are collaborative, supportive and insightful."
