CFA SOCIETY BOSTON HOSTS NEIL PASRICHA FOR
2021 ANNUAL MARKET DINNER

Author, speaker, awesome expert, and happiness guru.

BOSTON – March 11, 2021 – CFA Society Boston reimagined its annual Market Dinner in a virtual setting. The Society welcomed over 200 financial professionals for an uplifting evening with keynote speaker Neil Pasricha and capped the event with virtual networking.

Chartered Financial Analysts (CFA) from across the state, and even the country, gathered to learn simple, research-backed tools to help cultivate a positive mindset, build resilience, and ultimately lift performance.

Participants enjoyed Market Dinner gift boxes that arrived right to their doors. Gift boxes featured the keynote’s newest book, You Are Awesome: How to Navigate Change, Wrestle with Failure, and Live an Intentional Life, locally sourced snacks, Two Minute Mornings: A Journal, and a gift code for dinner. This fun and engaging resource provided attendees with the ability to take the tools and advice presented and put them to work in their everyday lives.

Susan Farris, CFA, Chair of CFA Society Boston, welcomed the audience and introduced Neil Pasricha.

“As a community, CFA Society Boston is over 6000 members strong. You have shown resilience as you have adapted to the changes that have come our way both on a professional and personal level. In reimaging the Annual Market Dinner for a virtual format we wanted an engaging way to bring our community together and consider how we as financial professionals best go forward,” said Ms. Farris in her opening remarks. “Neil believes that we don’t succeed in spite of our losses but because of them… As we enter 2021, and with vaccinations exponentially increasing every day, the temporary reality may soon be in the past and I am looking forward to the day that we can meet in person again.”

The CFA Society Boston Market Dinner is the organization’s signature annual event. Past guests include former U.K. Prime Minister RT. Hon. David Cameron, former U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, former Federal Reserve Chair Dr. Ben Bernanke, and other distinguished leaders.
