Candidate Membership Requirements
Candidate Membership is complimentary for each year you remain eligible. You are eligible for Candidate Membership if you are enrolled in the CFA Program (Level I, II, or III), or enrolled within the past 18 months of the most recent scheduled exam date, whether the exam was taken, deferred, or missed.
Requirements include:

Currently enrolled for the CFA Exam for Level I, II, or III. Please fill in your CFA Institute ID# to confirm enrollment in the CFA Exam.

Complete the Candidate Membership Application and submit with your current resume.
The CFA Society Boston Board will typically review applications during the first seven days of the month. Approved applicants will receive an email during the second week of the month. Once the CFA Society Boston Board has approved your application for Candidate Membership, you will receive a new membership welcome email. Candidate membership is currently available at no cost.
