The Exchange: Mastering Difficult Conversations: Delivering Feedback that Works

Join us this fall for The Exchange—a dynamic three-part educational series designed to empower professionals across finance, accounting, and business leadership.

Hosted in partnership by MassCPAs, CFA Society Boston, and the Boston Estate Planning Council (BEPC), this series brings together members from each organization to explore critical skills that fuel career advancement, enhance communication, and deepen professional impact. Each session will include interactive components, thought leadership, and peer networking opportunities—offering real-world insights and takeaways you can immediately apply to your work.

Giving and receiving feedback is one of the most critical—and sometimes most avoided—skills in the workplace. Whether navigating performance issues, managing up, or addressing team dynamics, how you communicate in difficult moments can define your effectiveness as a professional and leader.

This interactive session with Kim Meninger, MBA, PCC, will equip participants with practical frameworks to approach challenging conversations with clarity, confidence, and compassion. Through real-world scenarios and small-group exercises, attendees will learn how to deliver constructive feedback, respond productively when receiving it, and turn difficult conversations into opportunities for stronger relationships and better outcomes.

Speaker

Kim Meninger, MBA, PCC

Kim Meninger, a Boston-based leadership speaker and former technology executive who could be a strong fit for CFA Society Boston programming.

Kim helps high-performing professionals lead more intentionally under pressure, strengthen their visibility and influence, navigate difficult conversations, and move beyond impostor syndrome.
