One area that has remained relatively unexplored for decades is cash flow pacing models and predictive analytics for private market funds.

During this event, Alex Billias and Sam Holt will provide an in-depth review of the historical achievements and recent developments in this field. Speakers 
Alex Billias, CFA, Chief Operating Officer 
As Chief Operating Officer, Alex is responsible for overseeing the execution and delivery of all of Bella’s projects and for charting the strategic direction of the firm. He also leads Bella’s efforts in developing quantitative tools to provide clients with insights into their most pressing questions, including simulation software for modeling portfolio cash flows and performance benchmarking solutions. Alex is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder.

Sam Holt, CFA, Principal
Sam, a Principal at Bella Private Markets, first started at Bella in 2017. He contributed to a wide variety of projects until 2020, when he left Bella as an associate. From 2020 to 2022, he worked as an economic and financial data analyst at the Committee of Capital Markets Regulation before returning to Bella as a principal in July 2022. Sam has helped develop Bella’s portfolio analytic capabilities, including cash flow forecasting and performance benchmarking. Sam is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder.
