Thursday, January 25, 2024, from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM at 101 Federal Street, Suite 502, Boston, MA 02110

Join us on January 25th for a fireside chat with a new CFA Society Boston Board member, Tiffany Hu, CFA, Managing Director at State Street Global Advisors. Starting her career as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) at McGladrey & Pullen, managing auditing financial statements, she transitioned her role from an auditor to the investment industry 15 years ago, first in the internal controls function, then rotated in mutual fund/hedge fund client service and operations, then internal strategy consulting, then investment compliance, then market surveillance, then market data vendors, then…. With all of those pivots along the way in Goldman Sachs, Fidelity, Arrowstreet Capital and now State Street Global Advisors, Tiffany keeps asking the same question, “Is this the right job for me?"

As the line of people’s jobs blurry across the functions and event industry, Tiffany would like to share the learning and takeaways from her 20 years of working experience as a generalist and help CFA Society Boston's current and prospect members to navigate your career journey and carve your own career path! Chief Investment Officer for Flagship Harbor Advisors, and Career Development Committee member, Erik L. Jefferson, CFA, CAIA, CWS, will serve as the moderator for this program, attendees can expect an interactive and dynamic session.
