Description
Engage with CFA Society Boston on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, for our Career Chat: Finding Your Genius in Finance featuring Allysen Mattison, CFA, Principal, Director of Investment Risk at Income Research + Management. This will be an interactive session for participants to learn about building your brand in your current role and how to best position yourself for new opportunities.  Allysen will share her insights from her experience on Wall Street in Investment Banking and Credit Sales and on the buy side in Fixed Income Research, Trading and Investment Risk.

Speaker Bios
Allysen Mattison, CFA
Allysen is Principal, Director of Investment Risk at Income Research + Management. She leads the function whose primary responsibilities are to identify and escalate positioning risks. Through risk assessments, product consistency research, and quantitative support, the team focuses on the strategic components of IR+M’s investment process to help ensure strategies consistently retain deliberate risk to generate outperformance while reducing unintentional and undesired exposures. Allysen also oversees the management of the Portfolio Analyst function responsible for trade allocation, hedging, and analyzing portfolio dispersion risk exposures.  Allysen is a member of IR+M’s Investment Committee, the Investment Governance Committee, the Senior Investment Management Team, and the IR+M Champions + Allies Network. 

At IR+M, Allysen has also worked as a Senior Analyst on the Securitized Team where she focused on Agency RMBS, CMOs, and SBA research, and she was as an Analyst on the Portfolio Risk Team.  

Prior to joining IR+M, Allysen was a High Grade Credit Sales Associate at Barclays Capital where she facilitated trades in credit securities, including cash and structured products. Before that, Allysen was an Analyst in Debt Capital Markets Investment Banking at Lehman Brothers. 

Allysen has a Bachelor of Arts in Quantitative Economics, summa cum laude, with a minor in Mathematics from Tufts University. She is a CFA Charterholder.

Members of any CFA society may attend at the CFA Society Boston member rate. Please Use code PPW2022 for webinars for member pricing. If you are only a member of CFA Institute, you do not qualify for the Society member rate.
  
Registration 
Members can register by logging into their Boston specific account. Non-members and CFA Society Global members must create an account, or log into their Boston specific account, to register for this program. Confirmation details will be sent following registration. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please ensure you have completed the entire checkout process. 

Safety Protocols and Policies
The health and safety of our members and guests is important to CFA Society Boston. CFA Society Boston will follow local, national and CDC guidelines and will comply with all government regulations. We require that our attendees do the same.

For the safety of our members and guests CFA Society Boston requires all in-person event attendees to either be fully vaccinated, as defined by the CDC, OR test negative for COVID-19 no earlier than 48-24hours prior to the date and start time of the event.  

CFA Society Boston will not permit attendees that are openly displaying signs of illness to enter the event or remain at it. Guests should not attend if they are sick, have been sick within the day leading up to the event, or are considered a close contact of someone that tested positive for COVID-19. Should an attendee test positive for COVID19 or feel ill on or before the event date the individual should contact the society immediately to cancel their registration.
