State Street overview:
As the world's largest custodian there are two unique things about our research: 1) we are located in Boston surrounded by some of the best academics and 2) we safeguard a lot of custodial data, approximately $33 trillion USD worth. Over the last 20 years we have partnered with academics from MIT and Harvard Business School to analyze our custodial flow data, we have been doing 'big data' since before it was a thing. We essentially observe investor behavior by tracking flows, holdings, and hedge ratios across FX, equities (public/private), and FI. It allows us to have an objective viewpoint on global macro events and can be quite insightful.
Please note, attendees are asked to bring their own lunches. There is no charge for Members for this event, however registration is required since space is limited to the first 50 registrants.
