Join CFA Society Boston for the complimentary webinar "Institutional Adoption of Digital Assets" on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 from 1:00 - 2:00 PM. Christine Sandler, Head of Sales & Marketing for Fidelity Digital Assets, will review the results from the recently released Institutional Investors Digital Assets Study and discuss what the findings mean for the future of digital assets.

Speaker Bios

Christine Sandler is head of Sales and Marketing for Fidelity Digital AssetsSM, which provides enterprise-grade digital asset solutions for institutional investors.  She leads all sales, marketing, and business development activity to accelerate business growth. Prior to joining Fidelity Digital AssetsSM, Christine served as U.S. Head of Sales for Coinbase, Inc. She has extensive experience in sales leadership and previously served as Head of Equity Electronic Sales for the Americas at Barclays Investment Bank, where she led cross-selling efforts and new business generation, and as Executive Vice President and Global Head of Sales for NYSE Euronext. Christine also previously served as Head of Electronic Sales at Merrill Lynch and worked as a buy-side trader. An advocate for women’s leadership and the autistic community, she co-founded the Women’s Leadership Action Network, has chaired the Women in Finance Committee for the Security Trader’s Association, and serves as a Trustee of two public charter schools serving autistic students in New York. Christine earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and is a graduate of the INSEAD Global Executive Program.  

Brian Abely, CFA is director of business development in the Digital Funds division at Fidelity Investments. Fidelity Investments is a leading provider of investment management, retirement planning, portfolio guidance, brokerage, benefits outsourcing, and other financial products and services to institutions, financial intermediaries, and individuals. In this role, Mr. Abely is responsible for business development for Fidelity Digital Funds, where he partners with investors to confidently navigate the emerging digital asset space. He has held various roles across Fidelity’s asset management business and distribution channels. Mr. Abely earned his bachelor of science degree in finance and economics from Boston College. He is also a CFA® charterholder and holds the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 7 and 63 licenses. 
Moderator: Manasi Vora is the VP of Strategy and Operations at Skynet, a Boston-based blockchain startup backed by Bain Capital Ventures. She is also the Founder of Women in Blockchain Boston with a mission to lower the barrier to entry in the blockchain industry for underrepresented minorities. Prior to joining Skynet, Manasi conducted research at the MIT Media Lab's Digital Currency Initiative and was the Director of MIT Bitcoin Expo. She held multiple roles in banking and investment management before moving into the blockchain industry.
