Description
Engage with CFA Society Boston for our Career Chat: Financial Stability Assessment featuring board member Kenechukwu Anadu, CFA, CAIA, Vice President at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston.  In this session, Kenechukwu will provide an overview of the Federal Reserve’s framework for assessing US financial stability, and discuss some of his related work, including on the potential financial stability implications of the shift from active to passive investing.

Kenechukwu Anadu, CFA, CAIA, Board of Director for CFA Society Boston
Federal Reserve Bank of Boston

Kenechukwu Anadu is a vice president at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston’s Supervision, Regulation, and Credit Department, where he co-heads the Supervisory Research and Analysis Unit.  SRA staff conduct research and analysis on the risks to financial stability arising from bank and non-banks and supports the Boston Fed’s participation in numerous Federal Reserve System initiatives, including the stress testing program.   Kenechukwu is also the co-chair of the Federal Reserve System’s monitoring and analysis program for the largest, most systemically important banks.  He also teaches corporate finance at UMass Amherst.  

Prior to joining the Boston Fed., Kenechukwu was a fixed income analyst at the Massachusetts Pension Reserves Investment Management Board, and previously taught corporate finance at Babson College.  

Kenechukwu is a member of the Boston Economics Club and serves on the board of directors of the CFA Society of Boston, UMass Boston’s Center for Collaborative Leadership, and YMCA Dorchester.  

He earned his BSc. from Northeastern University and an MBA from Babson College.  He holds the CFA and CAIA designations.

Registration 
Members can register by logging into their Boston specific account. Non-members and CFA Society Global members must create an account, or log into their Boston specific account, to register for this program. Confirmation details will be sent following registration. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please ensure you have completed the entire checkout process. 

Safety Protocols and Policies
The health and safety of our members and guests is important to CFA Society Boston. CFA Society Boston will follow local, national and CDC guidelines and will comply with all government regulations. We require that our attendees do the same.

For the safety of our members and guests CFA Society Boston requires all in-person event attendees to either be fully vaccinated, as defined by the CDC, OR test negative for COVID-19 no earlier than 48-24hours prior to the date and start time of the event.  

CFA Society Boston will not permit attendees that are openly displaying signs of illness to enter the event or remain at it. Guests should not attend if they are sick, have been sick within the day leading up to the event, or are considered a close contact of someone that tested positive for COVID-19. Should an attendee test positive for COVID19 or feel ill on or before the event date the individual should contact the society immediately to cancel their registration.
