Daniel Ingram's biography

Job title: Head of Responsible Investment for BT Pension Scheme (BTPS)

Daniel is a corporate governance and sustainable development expert with over a decade of global experience from large investment institutions to the heart of the British government.

His current role involves leading responsible investment practices at the UK’s largest corporate retirement plan ($65bn) across different asset classes including public and private equity, corporate bonds, real estate and infrastructure.

In his previous role as a senior corporate governance analyst at Hermes Investment Management, Daniel successfully engaged with Chairs and CEOs of the world's largest corporations to help create long-term shareholder value for over 25 pension fund clients.

In 2008, Daniel was selected to join the prestigious UK civil service, working for Her Majesty’s Treasury on a number of landmark reports including acting as Chief of Staff on the Stern Review on the Economics of Climate Change and Prime Minister Tony Blair’s Commission for Africa.

Daniel holds a post-graduate diploma in sustainable leadership from the University of Cambridge, the CFA institute’s Investment Management Certificate and a first class honours degree from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland.
