Jeanne Wolf, CAE

Chief Executive Officer

Career Position & Responsibilities:
Jeanne Wolf is the Chief Executive Officer of CFA Society Boston. In this role, she is responsible for the overall management of the organization. She oversees the board of directors, staff and the governance of CFA Society Boston. 

Favorite Part of the Job:
Jeanne shares that her favorite aspect of the job is the relationships and experiences that have come from it. She cherishes the amazing connections that she has built. Jeanne shares, "I have made connections that reach far and wide, and I’ve developed some lifelong friends along the way." 

Fun Facts about Jeanne:
As a mom of 2 active boys, Jeanne finds herself spending what limited time she has going to sporting events. But to unwind, she runs and rides her Peloton. Jeanne has run seven marathons, including the Boston Marathon and NYC marathon!.

Renee Russo, CAE

Chief Operating Officer

Career Position & Responsibilities:
Renee Russo is the Chief Operating Officer of CFA Society Boston! She oversees all operations which include -  strategic initiative oversight, marketing, communications, human resources, and general office management. 

Favorite Part of the Job:
She shares that her favorite part about her job is the people she surrounds herself with. She shares, "Our members are top notch, and it is a privilege to work with our dedicated volunteers. The work they do is not only for the betterment of our members but also for the greater investing community. Our staff team is also amazing, if I do say so myself, and I enjoy collaborating with them to make the society one of the top societies in the CFA Institute network." 

Fun Facts about Renee:
Besides being a CFA Society Boston employee, Renee is a wife and the mother of two girls. She is also a dog mom of two rescues. In her free time, she is an avid reader! Her favorite thing to do is go to the local library and pick up a few random books and see what strikes her fancy. Renee's favorite genre of literature is mysteries, a good beach read, or a thriller novel.

Todd Fowler

Director of Education and Events

Career Position & Responsibilities:
Todd is the Director of Education and Events. He primarily focuses on the overall management and strategic implementation of educational offerings and events, including vendor relations, contract negotiations, and working closely with members, staff, and volunteer committees. 

Favorite Part of the Job:
Todd joins the CFA Society Boston from Harvard Medical School where he was the Program Manager for the Harvard Macy Institute.  Todd loves collaborating with his other CFA Society Boston staff members.  Every year he looks forward to working with college students for the Local Research Challenge and planning the Annual Market Dinner. 

Fun Facts about Todd:
Todd is originally from Maine and lives on the South Shore with his two greyhounds.  A fun fact about Todd is that he was an extra in the Mel Gibson movie, A Man Without a Face.

Caitlin Basler, CAE

Director of Member Technology & Engagement

Career Position & Responsibilities:
Caitlin Basler is the Director of Member Technology & Engagement where she oversees the database, engagement platforms and supports the engagement strategy for members. Prior to this role, she managed Programs and Events for the society. 

Favorite Part of the Job:
Caitlin has a passion for technology systems management and is a detail oriented individual. She enjoys keeping all of our data and technology up to date to ensure the best member experience and offer CFA Society Boston members an online platform that meets their wants and needs.  

Fun Facts about Caitlin:
Caitlin holds an MBA with a focus in Information Technology since 2019 and is a CAE for ASAE. She is also an active volunteer to Camp Casco and the Events Coordinator for the Young Professionals Committee. In her spare time, she loves to walk her spoiled Shepsky all over the South Shore and paint when not spending time with friends and family. She listens to at least 50 audiobooks per year!

Laura Scardina

Manager, Marketing and Corporate Relations

Career Position & Responsibilities:
Laura Scardina is the Manager of Marketing and Corporate Relations at CFA Society Boston! She works directly with the COO to formulate and develop tactical marketing plans that enhance the visibility of CFA Society Boston and its membership. She oversees key initiatives for messaging and value proposition across external communications while identifying new opportunities in trending markets and industry sectors that would complement CFA Society Boston. Laura also works alongside the Director of Member Technology on recruitments and renewals as well as the Director of Education and Events on sponsorships and corporate relations.

Favorite Part of the Job:
Laura comes to CFA Society Boston with a Master’s Degree in Business and Marketing from UMass Boston and enjoys applying digital marketing strategy and tactical plans that will benefit and grow the society. She is enthusiastic about language and messaging across social media, email, and the website to ensure all members are inspired to engage and connect with other members as well as stay informed on the value that CFA Society Boston can bring to their careers. The CFA Society Boston Staff is a highlight of working in this role and the camaraderie amongst the team makes doing the job encouraging and fun!

Fun Facts about Laura:
Laura enjoys practicing hot yoga, cooking and baking family recipes, and enjoying a pop culture podcast or reading a good book. She rescued a senior dog at the start of the pandemic, and she loves to take him on long walks around her neighborhood. She can also be found watching a true crime documentary on Netflix or hosting game night with her friends!

Megan Harding

Senior Marketing and Membership Coordinator

Career Position & Responsibilities:
Megan Harding is the senior marketing and membership coordinator for CFA Society Boston. She is the eye behind all social media platforms, email marketing, and communication strategies. Megan also oversees membership management and is a constant contact for CFA Society Boston Members. 

Favorite Part of the Job:
Megan's favorite part about the job (aside from her great coworkers) is creating social media content for programs and events. She loves when social media content sends a message that is well received with members. Megan also appreciates the day to day conversations she has with members in order to understand how to meet their needs as the marketing coordinator. 

Fun Facts about Megan:
Aside for a love of content creation, Megan likes to spend most of her free time traveling or exploring new areas. She is a strong believer that long weekends should be spent in new places. Megan also considers herself a "foodie" and loves to go out to dinner with family and friends.

Mackenzie Godley

Program and Education Coordinator

Career Position & Responsibilities:
Mackenzie Godley is the Program and Education Coordinator of CFA Society Boston. In this role, Mackenzie works with the Director of Education and Events to coordinate all live, hybrid, and online programs. She aids in behind the scenes event management as well as any on-site needs.  

Favorite Part of the Job:
Mackenzie's favorite part of the job is forming connections with the CFA Society Boston Staff and Members. As a people person, Mackenzie enjoys connecting with each person she meets. She also enjoys touring different venues and event spaces to make each program unique. 

Fun Facts about Mackenzie:
Mackenzie is originally from New York and enjoys spending her free time exploring the city of Boston with friends. She recently has been enjoying trying local breweries, playing in weekly trivia, and hosting get togethers in her new place. Always up for adventure, Mackenzie will never say no to trying something new!
