PROGRAMS         

Registration Policy

Reservations for CFA Society Boston programs must be made in advance on the CFA Society Boston website to ensure a space. Payment is due at the time of registration. Registration deadlines are dependent on specific program details. Please see the program description for the registration deadline date.

On the day of the scheduled program, the speaking portion of the program begins fifteen minutes after the published start time. Walk-ins will be charges an additional $10 USD.

CFA Society Boston will not permit attendees that are openly displaying signs of illness to enter the event or remain at it. Guests should not attend if they are sick or have been sick within the day leading up to the event.

Cancellation Policy

Notice of cancellation is due to CFA Society Boston via email no later than two business days before the event in order to be refunded. After that time, cancellations may be made however refunds will not be awarded.

SEMINARS, CONFERENCES & DINNERS

Registration Policy

Reservations for conferences and seminars must be made in advance on the CFA Society Boston website to ensure a space. Payment is due at the time of registration.  On the day of the scheduled event, your reservation will be held for the entire program. Walk-ins are accepted for seminars and conferences only when space permits. Walk-ins will be charges an additional fee. Please note this policy differs for the CFA Society Boston Annual Market Dinner.

COVID19 SAFETY PROTOCOLS AND POLICIES

The health and safety of our members and guests is important to CFA Society Boston. CFA Society Boston will follow local, national and CDC guidelines and will comply with all government regulations. We require that our attendees do the same.

CFA Society Boston will not permit attendees that are openly displaying signs of illness to enter the event or remain at it. Should an attendee test positive for COVID19 or feel ill on or before the event date the individual should contact the society immediately to cancel their registration.

WEBINAR POLICY

With the speaker(s) permission, CFA Society Boston webinars will be made available for public viewing on the CFA Society Boston YouTube channel. The length of time videos remain visible is at the discretion of CFA Society Boston.

PRESS POLICY

As a general rule, members of the press are not invited to programs and Chatham House rules* apply in order to preserve the content of the program. At the time of invitation, a CFA Society Boston Committee Member will ask if a speaker has a preference pertaining to press. CFA Society Boston is not responsible for comments posted on blogs and social media.
*Chatham House Rules are defined as a meeting where participants are free to use the information received, but neither the identity nor the affiliation of the speaker(s), nor that of any other participant, may be revealed.

CONSENT TO USE PHOTOGRAPHIC IMAGES

Registration and attendance at, or participation in, CFA Society Boston meetings and other activities constitutes an agreement by the registrant to the use and distribution (both now and in the future) of the registrant or attendee’s image or voice in photographs, videotapes, electronic reproductions, and audiotapes of such events and activities by CFA Society Boston and other third parties, including but not limited to the venue, the host city, and the host CVB. By participating in a CFA Society Boston program, you are giving CFA Society Boston permission to utilize your photograph or video uploaded, tagged, or mentioned the association directly for society purposes such as to our newsletters and conference materials, social media, publications, and our website.
